Advanced Muscle Response Testing (MRT) — used as part of the Applied Clinical Nutrition assessment process to help individualize recommendations.
Laboratory Review — review of existing laboratory results to identify nutritional concerns, insufficiencies, and areas that may benefit from additional support.
Personalized Supplement Recommendations — individualized nutritional support based on your health assessment and, when appropriate, nutritional needs identified through laboratory work.
Vitamin & Supplement Reviews — review of your current vitamins, supplements, and over-the-counter products.
Holistic Lifestyle Coaching — guidance on nutrition, healthy habits, clean living, exercise, grocery shopping, supplements, and other aspects of holistic self-care.

Applied Clinical Nutrition takes nutritional principles and applies them to the individual person.
Rather than assuming everyone needs the same diet or supplements, Briana evaluates your individual health history, symptoms, lifestyle, nutritional needs, and other available information to develop personalized recommendations.
Depending on the individual, recommendations may include nutrition and dietary changes, whole-food supplements, lifestyle modifications, homeopathy, essential oils, and other holistic strategies.
What is Muscle Response Testing?
Muscle Response Testing (MRT) is one of the assessment techniques Briana may use during Applied Clinical Nutrition visits.
The technique involves evaluating muscle responses while contacting specific reflex and acupuncture points. Briana uses this information as part of her overall assessment to help individualize nutritional and wellness recommendations.
MRT is one component of the assessment, rather than the sole basis for recommendations.
Briana believes that your health is personal—and your care should be, too.
There is no single diet, supplement, or wellness plan that is right for everyone. Her approach is centered on listening to the individual, understanding the whole picture, educating the patient, and creating practical recommendations that can be incorporated into everyday life.
Small, consistent changes can make a big difference.
Your first appointment is about getting to know you and understanding the bigger picture.
Depending on the type of appointment, you may discuss:
Your health history
Current health concerns and symptoms
Nutrition and eating habits
Lifestyle and daily routines
Current medications and supplements
Previous laboratory work
Health and wellness goals
Areas where you would like additional support
For Applied Clinical Nutrition patients, Briana may also perform an individualized Muscle Response Testing assessment.
At the end of the appointment, you will receive recommendations based on your individual needs.
Yes. If you have recent laboratory results, Briana can review them from a holistic, nutritional and wellness perspective and help identify areas where nutritional support may be appropriate.
Based on your individual needs, she may recommend dietary changes or supplements to support nutritional insufficiencies or areas of concern identified through your laboratory results.
Patients should continue working with their physician or other licensed healthcare provider for medical diagnosis, treatment, and interpretation of medical conditions.

Absolutely. Bring your current vitamins, supplements, and over-the-counter products.
Briana can review your current regimen and make recommendations based on your individual needs.
She can also help determine whether your current supplements are appropriate, unnecessary, duplicative, or may need to be adjusted.
Absolutely. Holistic healthcare and Applied Clinical Nutrition can be used as a complement to your existing medical care and are not intended to replace your primary care provider, medical doctor, nurse practitioner, or specialist.
Briana's approach is designed to work alongside your current healthcare team, providing additional nutritional, lifestyle, and wellness support based on your individual needs and goals.
With your permission, relevant medical history, laboratory results, medications, supplements, and other health information can be reviewed to help provide a more complete picture of your overall health.
Applied Clinical Nutrition may then be used to provide personalized nutritional and lifestyle recommendations, including whole-food supplements and other holistic wellness strategies.
We encourage patients to maintain regular appointments with their primary care provider and specialists and to follow medically necessary treatment plans.
When appropriate, we may recommend that you discuss nutritional or supplement recommendations with your physician, pharmacist, or other healthcare professional—particularly when you take prescription medications or are being treated for a medical condition.
Think of holistic healthcare as another piece of your healthcare team—not a replacement for the team you already have.
Our goal is to help you become more informed and proactive about your health while supporting you in working collaboratively with all of your healthcare providers.
Your health is best supported when your providers work together—and you remain at the center of your care.
